Maria Montt Strabucchi
Since April 2025, Maria Montt Strabucchi is the Vice Rector for International Affairs at UC. Her main objective is to achieve the international positioning of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in different areas and to obtain, together with international partners, a contribution to global welfare.

History
The Vice Rector's Office for International Affairs is responsible for leading and executing the University's international relations policies. This means, among other things, representing the University before international agencies and institutions, managing student and academic exchange programs, attracting foreign students and promoting internationalization within the University.
It is responsible for developing and executing the internationalization policies of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in the areas of links with foreign institutions, participation in international networks, training of people for a globalized world, the generation of collaborative knowledge and social commitment to contribute to the care of the common home.
