Validate your Language Certificate

During your mobility, you will take regular courses at the host university, therefore it is necessary that you already have intermediate knowledge of the language so that you can perform correctly. This is why we request a language certificate at the time of application, with which you must meet the minimum levels/scores established by each university, information that you can review in the available spots offer.

Important

  • It is necessary to have a language certificate to apply to universities with this requirement. The application system will not allow you to select these universities until you have a certificate validated by the VRAI.
  • It is not possible to submit certificates once the call for applications has closed.
  • To select a university, you must meet the minimum score and band scores if applicable. You will not be able to select universities if you do not meet the exact score.
  • In the case of universities that require differentiated language requirements according to the area of study, it is the responsibility of each student to verify if they meet the minimum requirement for their areas of interest. It could happen that a student does not meet the minimum score for a certain area, but does for the rest. In such a case, and given that the system will allow their application to pass, as they meet the minimum in some of the areas, the VRAI will assume that the student is interested in enrolling in courses from the areas for which they do meet the language requirement. Under no circumstances can the student enroll in courses from the area for which their score is insufficient. This means rejection of the application by the university to which they are applying.
  • Although it is true that the VRAI constantly updates the language requirements in its university profile, host universities often make unexpected modifications to these requirements, so the VRAI is not responsible for such modifications, as it is beyond its authority.
